My Story

Jonathan Edward Barlow

An experienced activist and community organizer with a passion for social justice. With years of experience in faith-based activism, they bring a unique perspective to the conversation about spirituality and social change.

Comes from a close-knit family that includes Maria, his sister, Lydia, his mother, John Dixon, his brother, and Father Jerome. Their support has been instrumental in the author’s journey as an activist and organizer.

With over 10 years in ministry, 35 years as a believer, and experience in government, community, and corporate business, the author of the Radical Sunday book brings a wealth of experience to the table. This diverse background has shaped the author’s unique perspective on faith-based activism and community organizing.

The author of the Radical Sunday book has been fortunate to have had several mentors throughout their journey, including Pastor Dr. James J. Minnick of Mt. Pleasant MBC and the late Joseph B. Barlow Jr. Their guidance and support have been instrumental in shaping the author’s approach to activism and community organizing.
